Those with mobility issues are asked to arrive early and contact the front of house staff so that they may be seated prior to the rest of the audience. Please be aware that our historic venues have narrow aisles that were not designed to accommodate today’s wider and motorized wheelchairs. Please contact the venue ahead of time so they can help plan your path to your seats. For general admission or open seating, please inform an usher or house manager upon your arrival that you will need some seating accommodation. There are designated wheelchair seating areas located throughout the house. Normally a chair or two can be provided so your companions can be seated with you in the wheelchair section.For reserved seating, wheelchair and companion seats must be purchased in advance. We cannot guarantee that these will be available the day of the show. If a mobility issue develops after the tickets have been purchased be sure to contact the ticketing service as soon as possible to explore options. Hearing assistance devices are available for check out at the box office. A driver’s license or other ID will be held to ensure the return of the device at the end of the event. Jesse AuditoriumAccessible ParkingA limited number of accessible parking spaces are available on the east side of Jesse Hall off 9th Street. The accessible entrance to the building is about 140 yards from this parking area. Please be aware that these spaces may not always be available due to production parking as this is also the loading dock area. There are two accessible spaces in the circle drive in front of the Reynolds Alumni Center off Conley Ave. These spaces are about 125 yards from the building’s accessible entrance.Additional accessible parking spaces can be found next to Lafferre Hall or Townsend Hall off 6th Street. Be sure to use the sidewalk between Hill Hall and Townsend Hall if parking in these locations as there are stairs in the path between Lafferre and Jesse Halls. These spaces are about 175 yards from the building’s accessible entrance.There are a number of accessible parking spaces in the Turner Ave. and Conley Ave parking structures. These spaces are a little over 200 yards from the building’s accessible entrance.Please note that the Conley Structure is currently closed for maintenance. Drop OffThe best location for dropping guests off is on Conley Ave on the south side of Jesse Hall. The accessible entrance to the building is about 80 yards down a gentle slope. Parking can then be found in the Turner or Conley parking structures.Accessible EntranceMost of Jesse Hall’s entrances have steep steps. There are fewer steps at the Auditorium Entrance on the southeast side of the building. The barrier free and automatic door entrance is located under the main staircase on the south side of Jesse Hall (the side of Jesse closest to Conley Avenue and facing Traditions Plaza). Visitors will enter on the ground floor and use one of two elevators to reach the first floor, where the entrance to Jesse Auditorium is located.Accessible SeatingLimited wheelchair accessible seats are located in several places throughout the auditorium, including in the balcony. For reserved seating events, be sure to purchase accessible seating. (This is the same block as the theatre)Drop OffThe best location for dropping guests off is directly in front of the Missouri Theatre on South 9th Street. A dedicated loading zone is just steps from the main lobby doors. Accessible EntranceThe main lobby doors are barrier free with one set offering motor assisted doors. ElevatorThere is an elevator provided to access the balcony to the right as you enter the main lobby.Accessible SeatingLimited wheelchair accessible seats are located in several places throughout the auditorium, including in the balcony.
